UTA launches state’s first D-I flag football program

UTA is making history as the first NCAA Division I university in Texas to launch a women’s flag football program—staking its claim on one of the fastest growing sports in high schools across the state and the nation, and opening new doors for athletes eyeing the 2028 Olympics.

New and continuing students, visit this one-stop shop in the University Administration Building on Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to complete advising and registration, review your student account, evaluate payment plan options, discuss financial aid information, and more. Walk-ins are welcome, but to help us better prepare to serve you, let us know you’re coming by signing up to attend.
